This is from the Mirasol Eating Disorder Recovery Center’s facebook. And it is so true. My goal weight keeps shrinking, and then I do. The thinner I am, the more my emotional void is fulfilled- even if I am miserable. But our worth is not measured by a number on a scale. It is not measured in the size “0” of our jeans or the “XS” tags on our shirts.

Our worth is measured by our strength, passion and capacity to love.
